A plane passenger has woken up to a surprise on a recent flight, claiming a "random" child had drawn on their white socks.
The moment quickly went viral and was shared across various Reddit threads, sparking a heated debate about who was actually in the wrong.
"I woke up to some random kid drawing on my white socks," the traveller wrote on the original post.
An image of the sock covered in scribbles was then shared by others, with one person writing in a caption: "Which action is more mildly infuriating? The person sticking their feet into the seat in front, or the kid drawing on their socks."

Over a thousand comments flooded in with most people arguing that the passenger had it coming by placing their feet on the armrest.
"You're the inconsiderate one. Stop sticking your smelly sock over to other people's seats," was one comment.
"Kid's crayons are like: 'It's free real estate'," another mused.
"Yes, leave your shoes on and get your nasty feet off my armrest," another agreed, while a fourth commenter wrote, "What you get for sticking your nasty feet in someone's section."

There wasn't much support for the white-socked traveller at all, with plenty just thinking the entire scenario was amusing.
"Man out of all of the airplane bulls--t... this is the first one I've ever seen that's just f---ing hilarious," one person said.
"Justice," was another response.
